 What you’ll be working on

Based in either our Birmingham or Northampton store, you will provide financial support to stakeholders across the business with a specific focus our cinchstore team. We are in the processes of launching 4 stores across Northampton, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, as the finance contact embedded in the stores team, your role will be key in helping to embed and evolve controls, identify cost savings, identifying trends and ensuring financial support is given to the cinchstore leadership team. Some travel should be expected between stores / other offices as required.

Responsibilities will include

  • Produce management accounts as required by the dealership leadership teams for each store
  • Lead month end reviews with the cinchstore management teams
  • Work closely with the stores team to ensure robust CAPEX processes are in place
  • Review billing data to ensure it is captured correctly for financial reporting
  • Assist in forecasting activities for the cinchstores
  • Support the stores with headcount planning and commission tracking
  • Respond to queries from the finance leadership team relating to cost recognition
  • Liaise with the wider finance team to ensure a consistent approach
  • Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required as part of the overall finance function
  • Work closely with our decision intelligence team to ensure accurate reporting through PowerBI

Things we look for in you

  • Qualified accountant – ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Demonstrate experience in analysing large data sets
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Aptitude for working independently and using own initiative
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop key stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of being a go to point of contact for finance and partnering commercial teams and presenting financial data to non financial stakeholders
