The role

Due to the continued success of cinch, the team is expanding with an opening for an Inventory Executive role. This position offers a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skill-set within an e-commerce business, in a fresh and dynamic environment.

Main purpose of role:

    • You will be responsible for managing and controlling all online and physical store stock and ensuring all cars are fit for sale on our platform
    • This will include reviewing the quality of our stock, managing the data that’s displayed with all cars and reporting any anomalies/discrepancies.
    • All day-to-day admin of vehicles from purchase to point of delivery to the customer
    • Stock reconciliation and relationship management

Typical focus areas for the role:

    • Manage the listing of vehicles on the site to ensure the cinch standard is met
    • Quality check and manage 3rd party stock on platform
    • Manage and mitigate any cars at risk
    • Manage and cultivate relationships with partners
    • Provide daily and weekly reports/analysis detailing the figures and operational performance of the vehicles purchased
    • Run daily reports on all risk cars and all cars returned back to cinch to manage stock levels
    • Management of all part-exchange stock
    • Attend and contribute to cinch team meetings as and when required
    • Manage and lead any ad-hoc projects assigned to you. Produce reports detailing the results of any said projects
    • Autotrader advert updates
    • Monitor purchased stock to ensure days to sale and overage vehicles are managed efficiently and effectively
    • A small degree of flexible working is required to ensure the needs of a 24/7 retail environment are met and travel to other offices will be required when necessary
    • Assist Customer Experience with any sales related questions on vehicles
    • Work with the wider cinch team in different business functions to lend support and expertise where required

Requires skills:

  • Experience in the motor industry (3+ years)
  • Display strong analytical skills and able to provide pro-active insights as well as recommendations for changes
  • Intermediary to advanced Excel knowledge (V Lookup, pivot tables)
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills, with an ability to interact with all levels of end users 
  • Advanced IT Skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

Beneficial but not essential:

  • High level of interest in cars
  • Previous experience in automotive & stock management environment
  • Previous experience in Logistics
